Happy New Year!

Things have been busy–I’m continuing my training at Maggie Flanigan Studio, and supporting myself with a variety of endeavors, including (but not limited to) The American Design Club, and a new design studio called Hangar, run by my friend and fellow Pratt Alum Tim Mellema. In the coming months, I’ll be wrapping up some classes at MFS, getting new headshots, gong to Milan for Salone (with AmDC!), and hopefully going full-steam-ahead into auditions as a working actor.

Raw + Unfiltered: An American Design Club Show Sponsored by Karlsson’s Vodka

This is a video documenting the mounting of AmDC’s most recent exhibition, “Raw + Unfiltered,” graciously sponsored by Karlsson’s Vodka. They produced this gorgeous little film as part of their Unfiltered Project, which promotes creative endeavors that speak to the idea of, well, what it means to be “unfiltered.” Yours Truly makes a couple decent remarks, if I do say so myself…

American Design Club presents THREAT

This past year mah boo Kiel has gotten me more involved with the inner workings of The American Design Club. We’ve had this particular design exhibition in the works, and now we are proud to announce the opening of THREAT, March 9 at Present Co. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Below are some shots of XBats that have been pimped out in various ways by well-known designers, to better facilitate a good ass-kicking (per the theme of the show). The ones below are by Fort Standard, Harry Allen and Jason Miller, respectively (modeled by Yours Truly).
